Recipe Import Help

CookClip can add recipes from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Safari, websites, camera photos, notes, and handwritten recipes. For links, paste a copied URL or share the recipe directly to CookClip, then review it before tapping Create Recipe.

Copy, paste, and create

  1. Download CookClip from the App Store.
  2. Copy the recipe URL.
  3. Open CookClip and paste it into the import screen.
  4. Tap Import Recipe, review the detected URL, then tap Create Recipe.

Share directly to CookClip

  1. Download CookClip from the App Store.
  2. Open the recipe link and tap Share.
  3. Tap More if CookClip is not visible, then choose CookClip.
  4. Review the URL in the import sheet and tap Create Recipe.
  • Confirm the recipe link is publicly accessible and fully loaded.
  • If a website shows a cookie banner, privacy prompt, region prompt, or collapsed recipe card, accept the required prompt and make sure the recipe is visible before importing.
  • If the import misses items, edit the recipe before saving.
  • Try importing the plain text version if formatting is complex.
