Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account from inside CookClip on iPhone, iPad, or Android. You must be signed in, confirm the deletion warning, and may be asked to sign in again with Apple or Google.
This action cannot be undone. CookClip removes your account and the synced data associated with it, including:
iPhone and iPad
These steps match the current CookClip account flow for signed-in users.
Open CookClip and tap the Settings gear.
Under Account & Sync, tap Account.
Scroll to the signed-in account actions and tap Delete Account.
Review the list of data that will be removed. Tap Delete Account to confirm, or Cancel to leave the account unchanged.
For security, CookClip may ask you to sign in again. Continue with the Apple or Google provider linked to this account.
Keep CookClip open while deletion is processed. When it succeeds, the app confirms that the account was deleted and signs you out.
Android
Android uses the same secure deletion service with a slightly different confirmation sequence.
Open CookClip and tap the Settings gear.
In Settings, scroll to Account. The delete action appears only while you are signed in.
Tap Delete Account below the sign-out action.
Read what will be permanently removed, then tap Continue. Tap Cancel if you do not want to proceed.
Choose Google or Apple, using the provider linked to your CookClip account.
After deletion is scheduled, CookClip signs you out, removes this account’s local synced data, and shows an account-deleted confirmation.
